Ceala Silvocultural thematic route

⇒ Măltărețu Lake

Description: The trail starts from the Ceala Visitor Center and ends at Balta Măltărețu. The trail aims to inform and educate tourists about the benefits of sustainable use of forests and their sustainable exploitation. At the same time, we can learn about the species of trees and shrubs, mammals and birds that can be found in the Lunca Mureșului Natural Park. On the route we find a series of informative panels, as well as QR codes, which, once scanned by visitors, opens an attractive and interactive perspective in relation to the forest and the protected natural area.

Visiting rules:

Contact the park administration (either by phone or on the official website) to check the status of the chosen route, degree of difficulty, duration.
Equip yourself properly: Appropriate gear for the season.
Make sure you have enough fluids with you. AVOID alcoholic drinks, they dehydrate.
Do not destroy the markings and signs on the route!
Do not deviate from the marked route!
Do not collect plants or animals! DO NOT TOUCH wild animals! DO NOT MAKE NOISE!
Do NOT THROW waste of any kind on the trail, even those you consider biodegradable! Wild animals tend to be attracted to them.
If you are accompanied by pets, especially dogs, cats, make sure they are not left loose (both for their safety and for the safety of wild animals).
Do not make fire in unprepared places!
It is forbidden to access the trails with motorized vehicles (the exception is the sectors that overlap with public roads).
